WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
In a private garden in Griesheim, Baumann Gärten- und Freiräume created a natural pool landscape that perfectly balances design, sustainability, and atmosphere. The centerpiece is a RivieraPool D-Line Ancona fiberglass shell measuring 10 by 3.2 meters, complemented by a biological filtration system from Teichmeister. This natural pool concept works entirely without chemicals or annual water replacement, making it both eco-friendly and resource-efficient.
The pool is bordered with flamed granite coping stones, while the planting areas are defined by pre-rusted steel sheets precisely cut and welded on site. Behind the pool rises a striking Corten steel water wall, which transforms into a glowing sculpture at night when illuminated — its surface shimmering like liquid gold.
To complete the garden composition, carefully selected specimen trees and shrubs were planted, including a trident maple, seven ornamental cherries, a Persian ironwood tree, and a Venus dogwood. A thoughtfully designed LED lighting concept highlights the water wall, pool, decks, and even the integrated outdoor kitchen. By varying the intensity of light in each area, the garden reveals its full atmospheric charm after sunset.
