The French Federation of Pool and Spa Professionals (FPP) spoke on November 4, 2025, during its annual press conference. We unveiled the latest pool trends and figures, autumn is the ideal time for construction or renovation. The assessment is undeniable, after a necessary post-Covid adjustment period, the sector is reviving and gaining momentum.
Strong summer 2025 sales confirm French interest and growth for the pool market. A market clearly recovering with a +7.5% increase in quotes this summer.
The figures presented by the FPP testify to an encouraging upturn. Sales are up because the number of pools sold increased by +3.5% from July to September 2025 compared to the same period in 2024.
But what is most interesting is knowing that the French are confirming their projects. The number of quotes established by professionals jumped by +7.5% during the summer season. Full order books reassure the profession, with projects already scheduled until March.
Pool ownership is democratizing, now reaching all socio-professional categories (44% are employees/laborers/farmers). What is certain is that today it is experienced as a real experience, it fully aligns with the “slow living” trend and the reinvestment in the home to create a true sanctuary of well-being at home.

Autumn the Season for Construction
One of the key messages of the conference is the importance of anticipating one’s project to be sure of being able to swim before the summer. Autumn is the ideal season for construction work!
Indeed, conditions are optimal, the ground is still dry and stable, water tables are low, and the milder climate favors earthworks and concrete pouring, without the risk of frost.
Furthermore, after the peak summer season, pool professionals are much more available, which allows for reduced lead times.
To guarantee profitability, you must anticipate! If you advise your clients to start in autumn, it’s not just for their comfort, it’s also to optimize your production schedule. The message is simple and strong. Why? Because starting in autumn is the guarantee of avoiding high-season congestion and ensuring the client that their pool will be operational from the first days of spring. This is an unbeatable commercial argument for securing projects now.
The profession is in full transformation, and the 20th edition of the Trophées de la Piscine et du Spa, with a record of over 410 applications, clearly demonstrated this.
Today, you no longer sell a pool, you sell a Low-Consumption solution. Beyond the focus on efficiency, this luxury amenity also embraces high-end aesthetic trends. Highlight the systematic integration of economical equipment (variable-speed pumps, automatic covers, etc.). This is a key argument, as a well-designed installation now consumes less than 10% of its water volume per year (i.e., less than 3.5 m³ for an average 35 m³ pool). This is your proof of expertise and responsibility.
Facing the existence of a vast pool park (France is the 1st European inground pool park), renovation is increasingly requested to modernize structures and update existing equipment.
There is a noticeable rise in small-sized pools, easy to install, including in urban areas. Landscape and architectural integration is a priority, making the pool an aesthetic and harmonious extension of the home.
Stainless steel is no longer a simple option, it is now a flagship material that is gaining ground in the French market and allows you to differentiate yourself. Because « 316L » stainless steel offers you total technical peace of mind. Renowned for its exceptional durability, incredible corrosion resistance, and minimal maintenance needs.
In addition to this robustness, stainless steel is a powerful aesthetic sales argument, with its smooth finishes that create a magnificent mirror effect. Last but not least, you offer your clients a 100% recyclable and ecological solution. This is the innovation that propels your expertise and meets contemporary expectations.
To successfully complete their project with confidence, future owners are invited to turn to Propiscines® labelled professionals. These experts are there to support clients through the four key stages of the project, choosing the location, defining the type of pool, the composition of the basin, and selecting the appropriate safety device.
