WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
On a hillside property in the northern Israeli town of Rosh HaNikra, Compass Pools Israel created a breathtaking pool that merges design precision with a spectacular sea view. Positioned high above the coastal plain, the pool opens directly toward the Mediterranean, its full-length infinity edge allowing the water to visually flow into the horizon.
The semi-recessed Carbon Ceramic Pool Fun 100, developed in cooperation with Compass Europe, presented architectural challenges due to the steep terrain. The foundation was leveled to millimeter accuracy before the Compass Europe engineering team installed the pool and lowered the infinity edge by just a few centimeters to ensure a perfectly even overflow across its entire length.
The result: a seamless vanishing-edge effect that lifts the water optically into the vast blue of the sea. Measuring 10 by 4.06 meters and finished in Nova Anthracite, the pool also features Compass’ signature Vantage self-cleaning system, which minimizes maintenance and reduces the need for chemicals. Subtle jets integrated into the pool floor, seating area, and steps generate currents that move debris toward the skimmer zone — leaving the owners more time to enjoy the stunning view.
DESIGN DETAIL
Delivered as a single prefabricated unit, the pool is equipped with the Vantage in-floor self-cleaning system. Built-in jets in the floor, seating bench, and even the entry steps sequentially direct debris toward an underwater skimmer.
