In front of a contemporary residence in the Netherlands, Compass Pools Nederland created a striking garden pool that pairs timeless elegance with effortless maintenance. The Compass Ceramic Pool XL-Briliant 88 features a two-sided infinity overflow system with a concealed channel, giving the water a seamless mirror-like surface.
Partially embedded into the ground, the pool achieves a unique aesthetic as the water appears to flow directly into the surrounding stone garden. White pebbles not only define the landscaping but also discreetly cover the overflow channel itself. On the other two sides, the pool merges flush with the terrace, paved in large stone slabs.
Finished in Nova Onyx, an intense deep-black tone, the pool complements the home’s architectural design language with its dark, minimalist elegance. Measuring 8.76 by 3.8 meters, it is equipped with the advanced Vantage self-cleaning system, which uses almost invisible nozzles in the floor and steps to generate controlled water currents that continuously direct debris toward the main drain.
This system runs in tandem with the filtration cycle, ensuring full water circulation, preventing cold zones and algae buildup, and reducing the need for chemicals. A built-in roller cover discreetly preserves heat and safety, while the Dryden Aqua System automatically regulates pH levels and disinfection — maintaining crystal-clear water without manual effort.
DESIGN DETAIL
The infinity overflow gives the illusion that the emerald-toned water simply disappears into the ground. The deep pool color enhances this effect, creating a vivid, reflective surface with a luxurious visual depth.
