Water, Warmth, Wellbeing

Why aquanale 2027 Belongs on Your Agenda

From October 26 to 29, 2027, Cologne will become the meeting point for pools, saunas, spas, and wellness. aquanale 2027 will show how innovation, sustainable operations, green living, and new wellness concepts are driving the industry forward. Exhibitors can secure booth space now and benefit from early-bird conditions until January 31, 2027.

Sauna from Finland, Halle 8

Water is at once a resource, an experience space, a health factor, and a technical challenge. In pools, saunas, spas, thermal baths, hotels, gardens, and public bathing facilities, the responsible use of resources determines quality, economic viability, and future readiness. This is where the international trade fair for Sauna.Pool.Ambiente. comes in: as a platform for products, planning, operations, design, and market trends.

An Industry in Transition

Investment decisions in public and private leisure, health, and recreation spaces are increasingly shaped by sustainability, efficiency, and user experience. Private pools, saunas, spas, and outdoor areas are becoming retreat and recovery spaces where design, technology, and resource conservation work together. At the same time, public facilities face the challenge of creating viable offerings that promote health, participation, and community.

What’s needed are holistic solutions that combine quality, operational safety, economic viability, and future readiness. Green living, nature-based design, and water garden construction are also gaining importance in this context. Natural pools, swimming ponds, gardens, terraces, and natural filtration systems show how living spaces can be made more sustainable, comfortable, and experiential.

Sauna, spa, and wellness remain core areas of expertise and continue to develop into significant investment fields. aquanale reflects this development across its full breadth: from pool, sauna, spa, and wellness architecture to water technology, equipment, and design, through to solutions for planning and operations.

#bettertogether: Two Trade Fairs, One Shared Vision for the Future

Additional relevance comes from the parallel FSB trade fair. Under the banner #bettertogether, water emerges as a shared theme for the future — without blending the two fairs’ distinct perspectives. aquanale contributes its expertise in pools, saunas, spas, wellness, water technology, green living, and quality of stay, while FSB adds open spaces, sports facilities, movement infrastructure, and municipal planning. Together, this creates new market and target-group potential for both fairs.

Good Reasons to Take Part

For exhibitors, the fair offers a focused environment. In Halls 7 and 8, companies will meet trade visitors with investment, planning, and procurement interests — including pool and sauna construction firms, operators of public pools, thermal baths, and wellness facilities, architecture and planning firms, landscaping companies, hoteliers, hospitality decision-makers, and project developers.

Stand: bsw, Halle 7, Halle 7

The supporting program strengthens aquanale’s role as a platform for knowledge exchange and networking. The 12th International Pool and Wellness Forum will bring experts together for dialogue. Further input will come from the German Association of Pool Supervisors (BDS) as ideational sponsor, along with partners such as the German Association for Pools & Wellness, the European Waterpark Association, Sauna from Finland, and the German Society for Natural Bathing Waters (DGfnB). Together with DGfnB, a new networking area focused on green living and water garden construction is planned to strengthen synergies between landscaping, landscape architecture, and pool construction.

aquanale 2027 is therefore the event for companies looking to showcase their solutions in an international industry setting, reach new target groups, and build valuable contacts. Those who register by January 31, 2027 benefit from early-bird conditions.
