A Stylish Swimming Pool as the Centerpiece of the Garden

WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
At a property in Münster that has been owned by the same family for generations, not only the residence was renovated as part of a comprehensive redevelopment – a new garden pool was also created.

The elongated architecture of the house is complemented by an equally proportioned swimming pool, installed by the specialist company Löchte. The impressive 11 × 3.7 meter pool basin comes from the Modena collection by RivieraPool and was positioned parallel to the house, embedded in a spacious wooden deck made of weather-resistant Kebony.

The deck sits one step below the terrace level, an idea the homeowners adopted from a design magazine. This slightly lowered position creates an elegant visual effect while also providing an unobstructed view of the water – even when enjoying dinner on the terrace in the evening.

The large swimming pool features several seating areas integrated into the entry steps. Before installation, the pool was fully insulated to improve energy efficiency and isolate it from the surrounding soil.

For athletic swimming, a powerful counter-current system was installed, along with the complete water treatment technology supplied by Ospa.

Today, the modern pool forms the center of the spacious garden – not only as a place for swimming but also as an atmospheric gathering point with multiple seating areas nearby.

The three compact nozzles generate a wide and evenly distributed flow.
