European pool equipment manufacturer CF Group has renewed its partnership with French freediver Eva André, following a 2025 season marked by two new French national records in constant weight without fins (free immersion). The collaboration, now entering its third year, continues to align elite sport with the group’s positioning around responsible pool development and water stewardship.
A Partnership Built on Shared Values

CF Group, a leading European manufacturer and distributor of equipment for private and commercial pools, first partnered with André two years ago. The cooperation is based on a shared vision of water as a source of wellbeing, performance and social connection.
For André, water represents discipline, balance and mental resilience. For CF Group, it represents both opportunity and responsibility — particularly in the context of environmental transition and resource efficiency within the pool sector.
The company states that its R&D strategy is focused on advancing energy-efficient and resource-conscious pool solutions, aiming to reconcile recreational water use with sustainability objectives.
A Season Defined by Strategic Reinvention
The 2025 season proved pivotal for André. Initially focused on monofin performance, she encountered a performance plateau between 80 and 90 meters. Rather than continuing in the same discipline, she shifted her strategy to free immersion — a technically and mentally demanding discipline emphasizing control and introspection.
The adjustment delivered rapid results. On September 12, 2025, André set a new French record in free immersion at 83 meters (3:42), followed the next day by another record at 84 meters (3:43). Notably, she had only been training in the discipline for several months.
The achievement underscores a theme both the athlete and CF Group emphasize: resilience and adaptation.
Positioning Pools Within the Sustainability Debate

The renewed partnership also reflects CF Group’s intention to reinforce the narrative that pools can coexist with environmental responsibility.
According to the company, innovation efforts are directed toward:
- Improving energy efficiency
- Reducing water and chemical consumption
- Developing high-performance, lower-impact equipment
- Integrating connected technologies for optimized operation
CEO Sébastien Guillot (CF Group France) stated that the company sees eco-responsible pools not as a future concept but as a current industrial reality, adding that long-term ambitions include pools capable of contributing to household energy ecosystems.
André has publicly highlighted the social role of pools, citing their importance in swimming education, public health and community life. She argues that infrastructure preservation and sustainability can — and should — advance together.
