A Private Wellness Garden in Münster

WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
In the spacious garden of an exclusive residence in Münster, an extensive wellness area was created. The rear section of the property was entirely dedicated to relaxation, featuring a luxurious garden pool, a freestanding outdoor sauna, a comfortable lounge area, and a putting green made of low-maintenance artificial turf.

The entire redesign was completed within just a few months. A generous terrace landscape with light-colored sandstone tiles now defines the wellness area. To create the terrace, part of the slightly sloping terrain had to be excavated. A natural stone retaining wall stabilizes the ground and creates a sheltered area for the lounge, next to which the outdoor sauna was later installed.

At the center of the terrace lies a light-colored skimmer pool from the S-Line series by VPS, supplied by pool professional Löchte. The 10 × 3.7 meter one-piece pool with roller cover housing and back-swimming entry steps was installed using heavy equipment: first lifted by crane over 50 meters onto the property and then transported another 100 meters through the garden using roller boards.

To improve energy efficiency, the pool was additionally insulated along its walls. For sporty swimming sessions, a Top-Swim counter-current system from Ospa with three jets and five power levels was installed, allowing for a natural swimming experience.

Both the water treatment technology and the pool control system also come from Ospa, ensuring an easy-to-maintain and reliable operation of the garden pool for the homeowners.

DESIGN DETAIL

Next to the spontaneously added modern outdoor sauna stands a chrome-finished outdoor shower by JEE-O, located close to the pool steps. A powerful patio heater from Heatstrip in a stylish floor-lamp design provides warmth whenever needed.
