WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
In the garden of the Koblenz city villa of artist Thomas Anders, designed in a Belgian-Flemish style, Schmitt Pools + Gartendesign created a stylish wellness pool that blends harmoniously into the ambiance of the property. As a full-service specialist, the company was responsible not only for the pool construction but also for the entire garden design, resulting in a cohesive and inviting overall concept.
The clear objective was to create a compact pool that integrates seamlessly into its surroundings and is readily available for relaxation. The choice fell on the C-Side model by RivieraPool, a one-piece fiberglass-reinforced pool measuring 6 x 2.5 meters. The interior surface was finished with mosaic tiles in a jade color palette, giving the water a distinctive depth and elegance.
Despite its compact size, a powerful counter-current system allows for sustained swimming. The wellness character is further enhanced by integrated massage jets that provide relaxing whirlpool experiences. The pool technology also includes an automatic dosing system for water treatment as well as a pool cleaning robot, ensuring easy maintenance.
The outdoor design is completed with African natural stone surrounding the pool, lush greenery, carefully selected garden furniture, and tasteful accessories. The result is a garden landscape with a sparkling pool that feels as though it has always belonged there.
DESIGN DETAIL
The swimming pool is lined with countless glass mosaic tiles in a jade hue. When sunlight falls on them, the tiles sparkle with a shimmering, iridescent effect—otherwise, they form a harmonious surface that creates a beautifully captivating water color.
