A Pool Designed for Balance and Elegance

WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL

On a spacious, sun-drenched property in Luxembourg, this pool created by Nautilus Badkultur is located in the rear section of the garden. It forms part of a symmetrically designed relaxation area.

This area includes a generously sized pool house, a sheltered lounge, sun loungers, an outdoor shower, and decorative elements arranged on a grid of square stone slabs. The pool itself is the only feature that interrupts this grid, preserving the open character of the space while maintaining clear pathways.

The swimming pool was classically constructed from concrete, waterproofed, and finished with Rosagres tiles. With its rectangular shape, it reinforces the uniform appearance of the terrace surfaces, while its color integrates harmoniously into the overall design.

The wide, slightly sloping pool edge is also finished with fine stoneware tiles and is permanently overflowed, creating a calm and elegant visual effect. Behind it, the overflow channel is concealed within a narrow slot, remaining invisible from the view.

The same applies to the automatic roller cover from Rollo Solar. When not in use, it is hidden at the rear end of the pool beneath the pool floor. When activated, it moves forward by motor and glides across the water surface.

At the front end of the pool, a wide entry staircase forms the first step and can also be used as a shallow relaxation zone.

The various lounging areas surrounding the pool, together with the generously designed pool house, make this space equally suited for complete relaxation and for hosting poolside gatherings.

DESIGN DETAIL

From a bird’s-eye perspective, the roller cover is particularly striking:
it rises from the pool floor and moves smoothly across the water surface.
In the end, only the permanently overflowed pool edges remain visible.
