Alpine Views Reflected in Water

WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL

In the surroundings of Lake Tegernsee in Bavaria, this pool was created with views of the surrounding mountain scenery. The specialists at Rost Schwimmbadtechnik positioned the rectangular one-piece pool at the rear of a long, narrow property, preserving a continuous lawn area on the opposite side.

A wide planting bed with perennials and shrubs separates the pool from the property boundary, creating a natural privacy screen. The pool itself is a RivieraPool Ancona 800/320 model in the color Granicite stone grey. This tone harmonizes beautifully with the alpine surroundings and the natural stone coping.

To protect the pool from debris and minimize water evaporation, a concealed roller shutter niche was integrated. When not in use, solar polycarbonate slats extend from it to cover the pool while also providing a solar heating effect.

A decorative stream with a spring, positioned centrally along one side, enhances the design and creates a calm atmosphere with its gentle water movement. Water treatment is fully automated by a HighPerf system from Ospa, ensuring crystal-clear swimming water.

Two LED spotlights illuminate the pool with warm white light after dark, complementing the atmospheric garden lighting.

DESIGN DETAIL

The one-piece pool was equipped with a decorative stream positioned centrally along the side, adding a calm, flowing water feature to the pool. At the center of the square spring area, freshly treated water continuously flows into the pool.
