WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
The garden area of a villa in Nuremberg was enhanced by Höhlein Schwimmbad & Wellness with this elegant, straight-lined pool. It is located in the rear corner of the garden, providing a sunny and wind-protected setting thanks to the tall property hedge.
To create a harmonious transition between garden and pool area, the hedge was bordered with coarse pebble stones and decorative globe-shaped shrubs. A small wall also integrates the lighting concept into the garden design. From there, a light-gray paved pathway leads to the center of the garden, where the 11.45 × 3.7 meter entry-level pool from RivieraPool is installed.
Thanks to a high-level skimmer, the pool features a high waterline and an integrated entry staircase finished with the same light-gray terrace slabs. On the opposite side of the pool, an underfloor roller cover is installed. Its housing also functions as a shallow-water bench.
The cover is particularly useful because it allows the pool to be operated year-round at a water temperature of around 28°C while minimizing heat loss through evaporation. Water heating is provided by a four-season heat pump.
The homeowners also opted for a high-quality water treatment system, including a BlueClear system that automatically produces disinfectants as needed depending on the pool’s usage. The elegant pool area is complemented by a covered lounge space and a stylish outdoor shower.
DESIGN DETAIL
The design-oriented homeowners made no compromises when it came to aesthetics. Clean lines define the appearance of the entire pool area, while high-quality topiary plants add an exclusive character.
