Greater supply reliability, simplified processes and a clearer product structure: BEHNCKE is reorganising its filter range for public swimming pools. Production of the previous EURO series will be discontinued. Its applications will be covered by the GOSLAR S series in the future.
The requirements for product availability, reliable delivery and cost-effective solutions continue to increase. This development also affects the planning and construction of public swimming pool facilities. BEHNCKE is responding by consolidating its product portfolio. The filters of the previous EURO series will be transferred to the GOSLAR S series.
With this step, the manufacturer is concentrating its range within one consistent product family. The clearer structure is intended to simplify internal processes. For specialist planners, system builders and operators, the change will provide greater transparency and planning security.
Solutions for different system sizes
The GOSLAR S series was developed for water treatment in public swimming pools. It is also suitable for other applications in process water and pool water treatment. The series includes filter vessels with diameters from 1,600 to 2,600 mm. This allows the filters to meet different system sizes and performance requirements.
The standard versions have a filter bed height of 1,200 mm. Models with a filter bed height of 1,500 mm are also available as an option. Depending on the vessel diameter, the filtration capacity ranges from 60 to 160 m³/h at a filtration rate of 30 m/h. The series therefore covers a wide range of public and commercial applications.
Robust GRP construction
The filter vessels are made of high-quality glass fibre reinforced with resin. The material is non-toxic and resistant to corrosion. It is designed for continuous use in water treatment systems.
Important components such as flanges, internal parts, pipes and support feet are also made of glass fibre reinforced with resin, or GRP. This consistent choice of materials provides high durability and helps to reduce maintenance requirements.
A robust nozzle plate with at least 79 nozzles per m² of filter area supports an even flow through the filter bed. The reinforced raw water pipework includes an additional support. All raw water and filtered water connections use flanges. They are designed to minimise friction losses in the pipework.
Easy maintenance and flexible configuration
The GOSLAR S has several access points for inspection, filling and maintenance. These include a lower DN 200 service opening, a side DN 400 manhole and a transparent DN 400 filling and inspection opening. Separate flange connections are provided for ventilation, flushing air and complete drainage.
The maximum operating temperature is 40 °C. The standard operating pressure is 2.5 bar. Higher pressure ratings are available at an additional cost. An ozone-resistant version is also available on request.
Further options include a connection for a control panel, automatic air inlet and air release valves, a differential pressure gauge and a second inspection window. These options allow the series to be adapted to project-specific requirements and different technical conditions. BEHNCKE provides a five-year warranty on the filter body.
By transferring the EURO filters to the GOSLAR S series, the company is combining a streamlined product range with a common technical platform. Proven applications will remain available within a more consistent product structure. This approach is intended to simplify product selection and provide reliable conditions for specification, purchasing and project implementation.
