The Italian company that brings bespoke solutions to pool grating — from made-to-measure sizing to an extensive palette of colors and surface finishes.
Founded three years ago as a spin-off of a plastics injection molding company with over 45 years of industry experience, Bellagrid stands as a compelling example of Italian manufacturing excellence — one that has leveraged a well-established production supply chain to address a long-overlooked gap in the market.
Headquartered between Verona and Brescia, the company set out to develop aesthetically refined pool gratings for a broad client base — from private homeowners and hospitality operators to professional installers and public aquatic facilities — all seeking an alternative to the standard white grating that could complement pool liners or blend seamlessly with the surrounding environment.
Customization on Two Fronts
Bellagrid’s product range addresses two distinct client requirements. On the aesthetic side, the catalog offers six solid colors alongside six decorative finishes — including marble-effect and wood-effect options — while remaining open to bespoke solutions. On the technical side, the company provides grating in widths ranging from 100 mm to 300 mm, across multiple depth profiles, with the capacity to fulfill non-standard specifications.
Safety, Aesthetics, and Performance
Every stage of the process — from design through to finished production — takes place in Italy. All Bellagrid gratings hold the certifications required for installation in publicly accessible facilities, meeting applicable standards for slip resistance and anti-entrapment, among others.
Manufactured from virgin-grade polymer compound with UV-stabilizing additives, the products are engineered for long-term durability, retaining both their structural integrity and surface aesthetics over time.
Tailored to Individual Projects
Bellagrid has not only identified a market gap — it has built a production model genuinely oriented around client flexibility. With no minimum order requirements, the company is equipped to support individual pool projects at any scale.
This philosophy extends to a further layer of personalization: the customization of the grating texture itself. The current catalog features two texture variants — named Giulietta and Romeo in homage to the company’s home city — though Bellagrid is also able to develop bespoke surface effects to meet project-specific demands.
Coming Soon
From May 2026, Bellagrid will introduce a third model to the market: Butterfly, engineered to deliver both safety compliance and high aesthetic performance in freeform pool applications.
