WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL

The owners of this property in Bad Reichenhall have moved several times—and have always had a pool. When building their current home, they wanted the new swimming pool to fit seamlessly into the overall design concept. For this reason, they contacted the pool experts at sopra Salzburg even before the house planning began, integrating them into the project from the outset.

The team skillfully incorporated the selected prefabricated pool into the terrace landscape, which is now framed by lushly planted flower beds. The pre-manufactured PVC pool comes from the H-Line by Vario Pool System and measures 9 x 3.5 meters. Its gray color scheme allows it to blend harmoniously with the surrounding outdoor design. The steps were even finished with the same stone slabs as the adjacent terrace, creating a particularly cohesive transition.

The pool directs the water to the treatment system via an overflow shaft—without a surrounding overflow channel. Nevertheless, the water level sits just 30 millimeters below the pool edge, preserving unobstructed views of the garden planting while swimming.

Excellent water quality is ensured by a generously sized filtration system combined with UV supplementary disinfection, as well as measurement, control, and dosing technology from Bayrol. This system also controls the solar-powered in-shaft roller cover by Grando and the three colored LED underwater lights— even via remote access. A support rail along the length of the pool completes the features, allowing for customized aqua fitness exercises.

DESIGN DETAIL

The five-step entry staircase is positioned along the side of the pool so as not to interfere with lap swimming. For a cohesive appearance, it is finished with the same stone slabs that adorn the spacious terrace area.
