STEIEL brings automatic pH and chlorine control to home systems, with the same precision and reliability as professional installations.
Keeping the water of a private pool or spa in optimal condition becomes simple thanks to NOVA² Pool P by STEIEL. The Italian company – a historic player with over 50 years of experience in electronic water treatment – designed this instrument to bring the same performance as a professional system into the home environment.
At the core of the system lies a simple principle: ensuring healthy and safe water through continuous monitoring of chemical parameters and automatic regulation that does not require constant manual intervention.
The software for pool water
What sets NOVA² Pool P apart is above all its software, developed specifically for recreational water applications. The interface is based on intuitive menus and a guided calibration procedure, with step-by-step instructions on the display. This makes managing a technically sophisticated instrument accessible even to non-specialized users.
Navigation takes place via four multifunction keys, while the backlit graphic display changes color depending on the status of the instrument, offering immediate visual feedback on the conditions of the system.
To ensure safety in use and maintenance, the configuration is protected by a three-level password, a solution that allows the functions reserved for the installing technician to be distinguished from those intended for the end user.
Precise dosing thanks to peristaltic pumps
The operational heart of the system is represented by the two integrated peristaltic dosing heads, silent and precise. They are dedicated respectively to pH regulation via acid, with a flow rate of 3 l/h, and to disinfectant regulation (such as chlorine, bromine or hydrogen peroxide), with a flow rate of 6 l/h.
As for chlorine determination, NOVA² Pool P offers two modes: indirect, through ORP readings, or direct, in ppm, via an amperometric sensor. Two options that ensure flexibility in choosing the technology best suited to the context of use.
Smart functions for safety and efficiency
The system integrates several functions designed to optimize the daily management of the installation. There are two dedicated inputs for the level sensors of the acid and chlorine tanks, useful for monitoring product stock and avoiding unexpected interruptions in water treatment.
Also, particularly interesting is the EcoMode function, which makes it possible to reduce the dosing of chemical product during times when the pool is not in use, generating concrete savings on consumption. This is also made possible thanks to the built-in clock, which offers wide-ranging scheduling options consistent with the usage habits of the system.

Connectivity and remote control
NOVA² Pool P looks to the future of system management with advanced connectivity solutions. Remote control is possible through the SteieLynx gateway and Web App, or via RS485 communication with Modbus RTU protocol. Connectivity with an integrated SteieLynx gateway is nevertheless available as an option, to adapt to different installation needs.
For more practical operations, such as loading parameter configurations, downloading collected data, or updating the system, a dedicated USB port is available.
The easy+fix system and compact installation
NOVA² Pool P offers the possibility of pairing the easy+fix system, with a sensor holder attached directly to the instrument’s casing. This solution proves valuable when space is limited, as it allows for an ultra-compact installation.
The casing, an exclusive STEIEL design, is engineered for quick installation on a wall bracket and offers an IP65 protection rating, suitable for damp technical rooms, ensuring reliability even under the most demanding conditions typical of water management environments.
A variant for controlling salt chlorinators
Among the available configurations, one variant stands out with a 230V output on a Schuko socket, designed for the direct control of a salt chlorinator or another chlorine dosing device.
This option further expands the instrument’s field of application, making it compatible with systems that incorporate saline electrolysis systems as well, which are increasingly widespread in private pools for on-site chlorine production from salt dissolved in water.
