WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
Sometimes something already beautiful can be enhanced even further from an aesthetic point of view – a perfect example is this garden pool realized by A1-Schwimmbadbau. It is located on a very spacious estate in Bavaria with its own horse paddock. On the adjacent open area, the pool specialists installed an 8 x 3.7 meter RivieraPool Ancona, which was even extended with a two-meter-long shallow water zone, surrounded by an expansive lawn.

Stepping stones and wooden pathways connect the main house and the garden house with the pool and the sun terrace, with the generously sized swimming pool forming the central focal point. It features a wet lounge, a large shallow water area with a depth of just 23 centimeters spanning the entire width of the pool, allowing bathers to relax comfortably in the shallow water.

This area is fully covered by a roller cover, which is housed in a roller shaft on the opposite side of the pool. The shaft features a fold-up cover that also doubles as a shallow-water seating bench. As a result, the homeowners have long been able to enjoy a wide variety of swimming and relaxation options.

However, the swimming pool, originally finished in the color Granicite Stone Grey, has now received an additional visual upgrade: it was subsequently fitted with a complete mosaic lining. The chosen material was the Capricorn glass mosaic from Ezarri’s Space collection. This gives the garden pool a subtle metallic shimmer that becomes especially visible in sunlight, while the dark tones of the tiles preserve the intense deep-blue appearance of the pool water.

DESIGN DETAIL
The generously sized wet lounge of the swimming pool offers the perfect place to sunbathe while lying in the shallow water. It also forms the first step of the pool’s staircase entrance, which leads down the side into the deeper water.
