On Thursday 19 November 2026, Aqualie will bring the collective use swimming pool sector together at Eurexpo Lyon. The event, entirely dedicated to public and private aquatic facilities, takes place during Piscine Global, which runs from 17 to 20 November.
Managers of aquatic facilities currently face several challenges at the same time, namely adaptation to climate change, control of operating costs and changing user needs. Aqualie was therefore created to support public and private decision makers as they develop their future projects.
The day is aimed at elected officials, sports facility managers, technical departments and public project leaders. It also concerns operators of private aquatic facilities such as hotels, campgrounds, resorts, thermal spas and water parks. For all of them, it is an opportunity to identify solutions that make facilities more efficient, more sustainable and more attractive for users.
A meeting point from design to operation
Aqualie serves as a hub for exchange between public and private authorities, project owners, engineering consultancies, operators and suppliers. Visitors can discover the latest innovations of the sector and meet experts able to deliver solutions and to support local authorities, thermal spas, campgrounds, hotels and other operators, from design through to operation. The aim is to help them respond to evolving user expectations, which now go beyond the swimming pool itself and extend to leisure facilities, wellness experiences and engaging user journeys.
One day to save time
Local authorities, sports facility managers, public project leaders and private operators all spend considerable time on market monitoring, sourcing and business travel. Aqualie reduces that effort, since visitors can meet national and international exhibitors, discover new equipment and find suppliers in one day and in one location. A wide range of events and conferences is also on offer to present market innovations and inspire future developments.
Conferences on water, energy, renovation and regulations
The dedicated conference and speaker programme will look at water management optimisation, energy consumption reduction, renovation projects and new regulations. Professionals will thus obtain an overview of the trends that relate to their projects, strengthen their competitiveness and be better prepared for the markets of tomorrow.
