WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
In a modern garden, this concrete pool by Vita Bad was realized as a clear symbiosis of clean-lined architecture and harmonious integration into its surroundings. The precise geometry of the pool meets elegant natural stone paving, which not only enhances the visual appearance but also provides a slip-resistant and pleasantly tactile surface.
With its L-shaped dimensions of 9.5 and 7.5 meters, the pool offers ample space for both relaxation and athletic swimming. To support this, it is equipped with a counter-current system. The features also include a waterfall shower that provides soothing neck massages after swimming sessions.
A particularly thoughtful design element is the deep, single-sided overflow edge, which allows the water to flow gently into the surrounding landscape and creates a visual connection to a distant lake on the horizon. The wide entrance staircase ensures comfortable access, while the saltwater-based water treatment system guarantees a gentle, skin-friendly swimming experience.
As darkness falls, the pool reveals a special atmosphere: artfully integrated underwater lighting creates targeted accents and highlights the texture of the natural stone surfaces. The resulting interplay of light and shadow gives the pool a striking nighttime presence. In this way, the pool combines functional quality with timeless aesthetics and blends seamlessly into the modern garden design.
DESIGN DETAIL
The natural stone slabs used to clad the concrete pool are dramatically highlighted at night by underwater lighting. At the pool end facing the lake, the water cascades deeply over the overflow edge into a white “stone bed” below.
