WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
A single-family home in Cham, Switzerland, was enhanced by pool specialist Vivell with a granite pool by Kusserpool that blends seamlessly into the garden’s natural surroundings. The solid natural stone not only offers great flexibility in terms of shape and features, but also creates an exclusive, organic appearance that allows the pool to merge harmoniously with its environment.
The pool rises decoratively about 15 centimeters above ground level and is framed on three sides by a wooden deck. Along the rear longitudinal edge, the deck transitions into a raised planting bed filled with hydrangeas and ornamental grasses. Hidden beneath the wooden deck is the collection channel of the all-around overflow system, which directs the pool water to the Ospa water treatment system with BlueClear disinfection.
This salt electrolysis system operates using standard regeneration salt and is controlled by the CompactControl monitoring and regulation system, which automatically supervises and adjusts all relevant water parameters. As a result, the water remains consistently clear and hygienic.
Heating is provided by a heat pump, while a durable polycarbonate roller cover by T&A protects the pool from debris and helps retain the water temperature. In the evening hours, two underwater spotlights integrated into the solid granite basin create an atmospheric lighting effect and elegantly showcase the garden pool.
DESIGN DETAIL
This garden pool, made unique by the natural inclusions within the granite, features a staircase entrance with an integrated seating and lounging area, also crafted from granite. Hidden beneath it is the roller cover system.
