WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL

In a private garden in Baden-Württemberg, this harmoniously integrated pool was created, with a focus not only on high-end execution but also on optimal use of space. It was designed by the homeowner in collaboration with interior designer Gabriele Thull and realized by the pool specialists at Schwimmbad-Henne.

The nine-meter-long and three-meter-wide one-piece PVC pool features a white corner entry staircase and an adjoining seating bench. The decorative natural stone surround creates a seamless transition into the garden landscape. A perimeter overflow channel ensures a flush, level water surface and remains discreetly in the background thanks to a cover made from the same natural stone.

For sporty swimming, the pool is equipped with a powerful Binder counter-current system with two turbines, which even received a custom-made cover panel for aesthetic reasons. All pool technology is housed in an underground plastic chamber. In addition to automated control and water treatment, the system includes various water features such as a cascade shower, a floor bubbler, and an illuminated water arch.

A slatted cover with solar function completes the setup—when closed, the pool’s water level is automatically lowered by five centimeters. When open, it retracts almost invisibly into a compartment outside the swimming area.

DESIGN DETAIL

Directly next to the pool’s step entry, a turbine counter-current system has been integrated into the pool wall. It is equipped with two powerful turbines and also features a specially designed cover panel.
