On November 4–5, 2025, the Convegno d’Autunno took place, reaffirming its position as one of the leading exhibition and conference events dedicated exclusively to swimming pool professionals. The event is organized annually by Professione Acqua and continues to serve as a key meeting point for the sector.
Convegno d’Autunno 2025 sets new attendance records
Each edition of the Convegno d’Autunno is hosted in carefully selected venues that combine comfort, elegance, and character. The objective is clear: to offer participants not only high-level professional content, but also an enjoyable and memorable experience over the two-day program. In 2025, the Grand Hotel Dino in Baveno proved to be an outstanding choice. With its refined atmosphere, attention to detail, and panoramic views over Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands, the venue created an exceptional setting that exceeded expectations. Favorable weather conditions throughout both days further enhanced the overall experience.
Designed to strengthen its international profile while maintaining its welcoming and familiar character, the 2025 edition followed the established format of previous years. The conference program was distributed across two rooms on the first day and three on the second, including a dedicated space for exhibitor-led workshops. Alongside this, a large exhibition area hosted 67 exhibitors, offering a comprehensive overview of products, technologies, and services for the swimming pool industry.
Among the most attended conference sessions were those focusing on construction materials, metal corrosion, confined spaces, proper chemical handling and storage, and pool safety. The latter was addressed directly by Rossana Prola, founder and scientific director of the Convegno d’Autunno. Strong interest was also recorded for presentations on Acquanet’s guidelines for pool covers, the application of artificial intelligence in the sector, and strategies for effectively managing one’s own business. Exhibitor workshops attracted solid participation as well, while particular attention was drawn to the live demonstration of alarm and child safety systems in the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool. This demonstration, attended by more than one hundred industry professionals, benefited greatly from the pleasant weather conditions.
Convegno d’Autunno 2025: innovation, dialogue, and professional exchange
The Convegno d’Autunno has always distinguished itself through its rich program of side events, and the 2025 edition fully lived up to this tradition. On the evening of November 3, ahead of the official opening, members of Acquanet – the Association of Pool Builders – departed from the Hotel Dino for a social dinner on Isola dei Pescatori, which, being free of tourists at that time, offered a unique and intimate atmosphere. On November 5, once the conference sessions had concluded and exhibitors had begun dismantling their stands, managers of public swimming pools and water parks convened at the Margherita Pool Bar for a closed-door discussion reserved exclusively for operators in this segment.
With more than 500 participants in attendance on each day, the 2025 Convegno d’Autunno further strengthened its status as an unmissable event for professionals seeking continuous education, technical updates, and meaningful networking opportunities within the swimming pool industry.
The Convegno d’Autunno will undoubtedly return next year, although the location and dates have yet to be announced. What remains certain is the continued commitment of Professione Acqua to delivering a high-quality event that supports professional growth and innovation across the sector.
