On November 4 and 5, the 2025 the Convegno d’Autunno took place, an exhibition and conference event reserved for swimming pool professionals organized annually by Professione Acqua.
A record-breaking edition for The Convegno d’Autunno 2025
Every year, the Convegno d’Autunno is held in comfortable, attractive, and charming venues. The organizers have a specific goal in mind: to ensure that participants enjoy two wonderful days and have fond memories of the event. This year, the chosen location, the Grand Hotel Dino in Baveno, with its attention to detail and direct view of Lake Maggiore and the Borromean Islands, exceeded all expectations, offering all participants unforgettable views and moments, thanks in part to the wonderful weather on the two days of the event.
The Convegno d’Autunno 2025, which aimed to be a more international but still welcoming event, maintained the structure of previous editions: a conference area, consisting of two rooms on the first day and three on the second, with a room dedicated to exhibitors’ workshops and a large exhibition area with 67 exhibitors.
The most popular conference presentations were those on building materials, metal corrosion, confined spaces, the correct handling and storage of chemicals, and pool safety, a topic addressed directly by Rossana Prola, creator and scientific director of the Convegno d’Autunno. There was also an excellent turnout for the presentation of Acquanet’s guidelines on pool covers, artificial intelligence, and how to be a manager of your own company. There was also good participation in many of the workshops held by exhibitors, although perhaps the most attractive event was the demonstration of alarm and child safety systems in the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool, which was attended by over a hundred professionals from the sector, undoubtedly helped by the beautiful weather.
Convegno d’Autunno 2025: innovation and networking for swimming pool professionals
The Convegno d’Autunno has always been an excellent opportunity for side events, and this year was no exception. On the evening of November 3, the day before the event, the members of Acquanet – Association of Pool Builders – embarked in front of the Hotel Dino for the Isola dei Pescatori, which was completely empty of tourists at that time, for a social dinner. On the evening of November 5, after the presentations had ended and the exhibitors were already clearing their desks, the managers of public swimming pools and water parks gathered at the Margherita Pool Bar for a closed-door discussion.
In total, there were more than 500 participants each day, a number that further consolidates the event as a must for all professionals in the sector who do not want to miss out on an opportunity for updating and training.
The Convegno d’Autunno will certainly return next year, but we don’t yet know where or when it will be held. However, the organizers of Professione Acqua have assured us that it will be, as always, wonderful!
