Pool & Fitness Contact, the seventh edition hosted in Campania for the first time

The B2B event dedicated to the fitness and pool industry brought together brands and operators in Pompeii for two days of targeted meetings and professional networking.

Last 11 and 12 March, Pompeii hosted the seventh edition of Pool & Fitness Contact, a biannual trade event organised by Assosport, Professione Acqua, Solferino and Wbox.

Proven format, new destination

For the first time in its history, the gathering moved beyond its traditional Central and Northern Italian footprint to take place in Campania, tapping into the entrepreneurial energy of the South. The venue was the Hotel Habita79 MGallery Pompeii, a luxury property that struck a balance between professional focus and a relaxed atmosphere.

At the core, one-to-one meetings

The engine driving the two-day programme was a system of individual 20-minute appointments, built by matching the stated preferences of buyers — managers and owners of gyms, swimming facilities and sports centres — with those of sellers, the leading industry brands in equipment, apparel and accessories. Each attendee received a personalised agenda of up to 18 meetings.

The morning of 11 March opened with a session reserved exclusively for club owners and managers. Across the previous six editions, the event has drawn a cumulative total of 430 attendees and achieved a satisfaction rate of 96%.

Beyond business, into history

On the afternoon of 12 March, attendees had the opportunity to visit the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, a UNESCO World Heritage Site just a ten-minute walk from the hotel: a closing note that turned a business trip into a rather more lasting experience.

The dates and location of the next winter edition have yet to be confirmed, but will be announced as usual on the official website.
