PPG Belgium: Close to you, the professional swimming pool builder

PPG Belgium acts as a strong partner behind the scenes for pool builders. With a wide range of pool equipment, technical support, training, and handy digital tools, the company embodies a total approach that perfectly aligns with its positioning: Supporting Pool Builders. According to sales manager Nicolas Verstraete, this is not a hollow slogan, but a philosophy that is implemented in all aspects of the business.

This approach always starts from the same question: what does the pool builder need to work efficiently, professionally, and profitably? Based on that thought, both the assortment and the services are continuously expanded.

PPG Belgium goes further than merely delivering pool accessories and supports pool builders wherever necessary. For questions regarding installation, start-up, or maintenance, installers can contact PPG Technics. Often, a phone call or a message via WhatsApp is enough to quickly reach a solution. If necessary, a technician will also come on-site.

“You can really make a difference specifically on the construction site,” says Nicolas Verstraete. “When a problem is solved immediately, you avoid extra travel and lost working hours. At the same time, you prevent frustration for the end customer.”

Logistics are also tailored to the pace of the professional. Orders placed before 11:00 AM are delivered the next working day. This allows installers to remain flexible in their planning.

Knowledge sharing forms another important pillar of PPG Belgium. In the PPG Academy, pool builders can further develop their technical knowledge and get acquainted with new products. “New this season were the evening training sessions that respond to the busy schedules of installers. This allows them to update their skills without having to adjust their work planning during the day.” The sessions are highly practical, allowing participants to test techniques and devices themselves immediately.

With MY PPG, the pool professional also has a digital platform where orders, invoices, technical documentation, and repairs can be easily tracked. Manuals, spare parts, and product information can also be found quickly. “That simplifies administration considerably and ensures that the pool builder always has access to the right information, even on the construction site.”

Energy efficiency and acoustic comfort as the new standard

In addition to support and service, PPG Belgium also looks ahead to technological evolutions in the sector. Energy efficiency, automation, and acoustic comfort are playing an increasingly important role.

Nicolas Verstraete: “End customers today expect not only low energy consumption but also an installation that operates quietly and comfortably. These expectations increasingly determine the choice of techniques and materials.”

PPG Belgium therefore focuses heavily on solutions such as full inverter heat pumps and variable speed pumps. The InverMaster circulation pump combines inverter technology with an optimized water-cooled system, resulting in particularly quiet operation and lower energy consumption.

Smart controls are also gaining importance. “Systems such as iGarden or the controllers from Aseko better coordinate filtration, heating, and water treatment, making installations work more efficiently and increasing comfort for the end customer. For example, filtration, heating, and disinfection can be controlled automatically, while energy consumption can also be better aligned with, for instance, the production of solar panels. For pool builders, this means more efficient management of installations and greater ease of use for the end customer.”

Three eye-catching innovations

These technological evolutions are also reflected in the PPG Belgium assortment, where three innovations stand out this year.

First, there is the Fairland XP26 heat pump, which works with R290 refrigerant gas, a natural refrigerant with a particularly low GWP value. “With this, we respond to stricter European environmental regulations and the demand for energy-efficient solutions. Thanks to full inverter technology, the heat pump also offers high efficiency, stable performance at lower outdoor temperatures, and particularly quiet operation.”

The new Fairland M1-series pool robots also align with this trend. These devices combine smart navigation with high cleaning efficiency. “They are lighter than previous models, feature an optimized filter system, and have a longer battery life. For the pool builder, this means fewer maintenance interventions and a reliable solution for the end customer.”

A third important expansion is the Aquagem H Series counter-current system. “Thanks to turbine motor technology, the motor can be integrated directly into the water, requiring less technical space next to the pool. The system combines powerful performance with a compact design and energy-efficient operation, and is also competitively priced compared to other turbine solutions on the market.”

Supporting Pool Builders

According to Nicolas Verstraete, the strength of PPG Belgium lies in the combination of products, support, and service. Pool builders can count on a wide range, innovative solutions, and a logistics system that enables fast deliveries.

“In a sector that is becoming increasingly technical and professional, you need a partner as a pool builder who grows with the market,” he concludes. “That is exactly what we want to be with PPG Belgium: a partner that supports, so that professionals can focus fully on their projects.”
