WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
In Düsseldorf, the pool specialists from Sollazzo & Wetzel created a comprehensive wellness oasis for a family of five—with the goal of establishing a place for relaxation, socializing, and recreation.
At the heart of the newly designed garden is an 8 x 4 meter overflow pool, an Advance prefabricated model by Niveko. Equipped with a shallow-water zone and a narrow entry staircase, it offers a wide range of uses. The pool features an in-floor cover, a Fluvo counter-current system, an air bubble bench, and an integrated water cascade—a combination that supports both wellness and active swimming.
The pool is surrounded by a spacious wooden deck that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional, creating ample space for relaxing outdoors. Adjacent to the pool area, a terrace of nearly 160 square meters has been constructed, covered by a modern louvered system that provides protection in all weather conditions. A high-quality outdoor kitchen transforms the outdoor space into a new central living area for the family—bringing cooking, dining, and entertaining directly into nature.
A functionally designed pool house completes the ensemble, housing not only all technical equipment—including a fully automated dosing system by Bayrol—but also sanitary facilities. In this way, a simple garden has been transformed into a year-round retreat that combines design, functionality, and quality of life.
DESIGN DETAIL
The shallow-water zone and the air bubble bench, which extends along almost the entire length of one side of the pool, naturally take up space and reduce the swimming area. For this reason, a counter-current system was integrated into the pool.
