WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
Set in an elevated position within a modern garden in Central Saxony, this pool extends the area in front of the home into a relaxing wellness retreat. The planning and execution were carried out in close collaboration between the homeowners and the pool specialists at Pumpen Veit, resulting in a complete redesign of the garden.
Two clearly structured levels were created, allowing the pool—combined with its high water level—to offer expansive panoramic views while swimming. In keeping with the contemporary aesthetic, the pool features a clean, linear design and an impressive length of eleven meters.
For more active use, a turbine counter-current system by Binder was installed at the far end of the pool, next to the narrow staircase entry. The technical equipment also includes a smart control system with automatic dosing, a variable-speed filtration pump, and a pool heat pump to ensure comfortable water temperatures.
To protect against debris and retain heat, the pool is fitted with a low-profile enclosure, which still allows swimming even in poor weather conditions. To maintain the clean visual appearance, the single-sided track was deliberately extended so that, on sunny days, the enclosure can be moved completely out of sight.
Two designer parasols and comfortable pool loungers complete the setting. At the head of the pool, a sunken lounge area with a large patio heater invites homeowners and guests to enjoy the space well into the evening.
DESIGN DETAIL
