In the garden of a single-family home in the historic spa town of Wiesbaden, Pro Pool created an impressive swimming pool that stands out with its emerald-green water effect. This look is achieved by a pre-formed pool shell that appears slightly elevated, giving the impression of a jewel set within the expansive wooden terrace landscape.

A key feature of the design is the wide range of usage options, carefully tailored to the homeowners’ lifestyle. The selected overflow pool measures 10 × 2.5 meters and features a modern, purist staircase with an integrated shallow water zone, allowing for relaxed lounging directly in the water.

The minimalist appearance is further enhanced by the high water level and a discreet overflow edge. The surrounding deck conceals the gutter system, ensuring that the technical elements remain invisible and do not disturb the clean design.

This setup also offers practical advantages: water loss is reduced, and swimmers enjoy uninterrupted views across the garden and into the distance—particularly impressive due to the sloping terrain of the property.

The generous wooden terrace surrounding the pool provides ample space for both relaxation and social gatherings. It creates an ideal setting for children to play in and around the water, as well as for hosting relaxed evenings with friends.

DESIGN DETAIL

The pool’s striking appearance is created by a high water level, where the surface seems to disappear seamlessly beneath the deck. The water is collected below and directed into the filtration system.
