Since 1945, BEHNCKE GmbH has stood for Bavarian entrepreneurial spirit, technical excellence, and the highest manufacturing quality “Made in Germany.” What began in a warehouse in Putzbrunn with household appliances and textile machines has today evolved into a highly specialized system provider for swimming pool technology, headquartered in Hohenbrunn.
On the occasion of its 80th company anniversary, the family-run BEHNCKE GmbH looks back on an eventful history—shaped by innovation, bold decisions, and a clear vision for the future. The most recent milestone was in 2024, with the move to a new three-story production, warehouse, and administration building spanning approximately 9,200 square meters in Hohenbrunn. Featuring state-of-the-art technology, a photovoltaic system, heat recovery, and building core activation, the site combines efficiency, sustainability, and a future-ready working environment. Over 100 machines and systems, 1,800 pallet spaces, and highly automated processes ensure that up to 120,000 products are manufactured annually—always under the quality promise “Made in Germany.”
The anniversary year 2025 also marks the opening of a modern show garden directly at the company headquarters. On approximately 250 square meters, visitors can experience stainless steel expertise, design diversity, and technical excellence firsthand. This new meeting place invites customers, partners, and planners to test the products live and gain inspiration—a further step toward customer proximity and lived innovation.
Over the past eight decades, BEHNCKE GmbH has not only continuously expanded its product range but has also significantly shaped the industry—from entering stainless steel production in the 1970s, to expanding fiberglass production in the 1990s, to a consistent focus on sustainable processes and high-quality materials. Today, the subsidiary POOLMONDO complements the portfolio with digital pool solutions for end customers, bridging industrial manufacturing and modern service. Fabian Weber represents the fourth generation in POOLMONDO’s management, bringing fresh ideas for the future.
