Invisible Technology, Maximum Aesthetics

WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
In the spacious garden of a villa in northern Germany, Krause Schwimmbadtechnik created a carefully planned pool installation that blends harmoniously into an L-shaped leisure and technology pavilion.

The focus of the design lies on aesthetics and the overall spatial experience. All technical components were concealed so thoroughly that they are barely visible even upon close inspection.

The individually designed swimming pool with a concealed overflow system was installed together with its surge tank as a single prefabricated unit, positioned beneath the pool and aligned with the tiled surface.

For athletic swimming, a counter-current system was integrated. Its suction openings were invisibly installed within the recesses of the cover housing, leaving only two small outlet openings visible.

The submerged roller cover comes from BAC Pool Systems and is equipped with solar slats. Atmospheric lighting in the evening hours is provided by RGBW illumination.

Special attention was also given to efficient installation of the pool technology. The entire system was pre-assembled on a specially developed steel frame. This structure simultaneously serves as the foundation for the bungalow’s ground floor, allowing the heat pump to be installed below due to construction requirements.

Additional ventilation ducts and an insulated technical housing with service access – developed by Technical Design – also utilize passive solar gains while remaining fully concealed.

Thanks to these carefully engineered solutions, the technology disappears completely from view, allowing the architecture and landscape design to take center stage while maintaining high functionality.

DESIGN DETAIL

This garden pool places a strong emphasis on invisible technology – even down to the smallest details. Only the two outlet openings of the counter-current system remain visible, while the suction system is integrated within the roller-cover housing inside the pool basin.
