The new BADU EV technology has been developed to combine high operational efficiency with reduced energy consumption and a lower CO₂ footprint. At the same time, the focus has been placed on durability, user-friendly handling, and flexible integration into modern pool systems.
The motor generation is now available across several established SPECK pump ranges, including BADU Prime, BADU Delta, and BADU Eco Future. Both motor variants – BADU EV1 and BADU EV2 – are officially available and can already be ordered with the corresponding pump models.
BADU EV1: Compact Stand-Alone Solution for Residential Pools
The BADU EV Prime is based on the new BADU EV1 motor platform and has been specifically designed for private pool installations where a separate external control system is not required. The concept focuses on straightforward installation, intuitive operation, and reliable day-to-day efficiency.
An integrated color display and built-in control functions allow users to configure filtration times and select between three different speed settings directly on the unit. The removable control interface additionally improves accessibility and simplifies maintenance procedures.
For many residential pool projects, the compact stand-alone approach offers a practical and energy-efficient solution without adding unnecessary system complexity.

BADU EV2: Intelligent Variable-Speed Technology
While BADU EV1 focuses on stand-alone simplicity, the BADU EV2 motor generation has been developed for more advanced and integrated pool concepts. The technology is now available with the BADU EV Delta and BADU EV Eco Future pump models.
The EV2 platform combines intelligent self-regulating operation with extensive connectivity options and very low operating noise. Compatibility with almost all external control systems makes the pumps particularly suitable for premium residential installations and automated pool environments.
The full-touch display allows intuitive operation, while integrated presets simplify the adjustment of different operating modes and performance levels. The pumps also support RS-485 (Modbus RTU), enabling integration into professional automation and building management systems.

Combined with BADU FlowSonic for Precise Flow Control
An additional advantage of the BADU EV2 system is the direct compatibility with BADU FlowSonic and BADU FlowSonic+ flow measurement devices. Both flowmeters can be connected directly to the pump without requiring additional control hardware.
The system continuously measures and maintains the desired flow rate, ensuring stable circulation and accurate volume flow control in variable-speed applications. If hydraulic resistance within the system changes, the pump automatically adjusts its speed accordingly.
With BADU FlowSonic+, users can conveniently configure and monitor flow values via display or app control. The interaction between pump and flowmeter creates an efficient and resource-conscious water management solution for modern pool systems.
