WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
On a steeply sloping hillside property in the Lake Constance district, Bergmann Pools created this terrace pool with views over the garden below and into the distance. The challenging topography of the estate required precise planning and execution, but at the same time made it possible to design an outdoor space that combines functionality with a high quality of stay.
Equipped with a counter-current system, the pool naturally became the focal point of leisure activities, offering not only opportunities for athletic swimming but also space for play, relaxation, and shared time with the family.
The pool features a five-step staircase that incorporates generous seating and lounging steps – the counter-current system is also integrated into this structure. The stone-grey color of the pool shell makes the water appear an intense blue.
Not visible, at least during bathing operation, is the roller shutter cover with solar panels for water heating, as well as the fully automatic water treatment system.
Just a few steps away from the pool, a modern outdoor kitchen provides culinary variety, while the adjacent dining area serves as a central gathering place. Around the pool, comfortable loungers invite you to relax – especially in the evening hours, when underwater spotlights bathe the entire swimming pool in atmospheric light.
DESIGN DETAIL
A lovely spot to pause at the pool’s edge and enjoy the view is the pair of loungers with comfortable cushions. It also sweetens the wait until the barbecue in the adjacent outdoor kitchen is ready.
