The new MTXi solar motor is powered by the sun

The new MTXi solar motor from BINDER operates pool covers using clean, renewable energy. Thanks to its intelligent battery technology, the drive works reliably even on cloudy days and at night.

BINDER has specifically developed the MTXi for outdoor use: the motor is therefore weatherproof and durable, delivering consistently high performance season after season. Should the battery ever run low, it can be easily recharged via an external connection, ensuring the solar motor is always ready for use.

Installing the MTXi above-ground drive with integrated control is straightforward: all cables, such as the motor and solar cables, are housed directly in or on the cover. This makes the installation of the solar drive both cost-effective and safe—without the need for electrical wiring through the garden. Configuration of the cover, including learning the end positions, is conveniently done via an app.

“We are constantly improving our products for greater efficiency, and with the MTXi solar motor, we are proud to contribute further to energy savings.”

Felix Binder, Managing Director

Pool owners can operate their cover with the new MTXi motor using a key switch or, optionally, a radio remote control. BINDER offers the new motor with a torque of 120 Nm.

The MTXi solar motor opens and closes pool covers using clean, renewable energy.

Under the MecaTec brand, BINDER manufactures a wide range of high-quality tube and shaft drives for pool roller covers and supplies them to all major manufacturers of swimming pool covers. Upon request, customized drive solutions for roller systems are also developed.
