On 22 and 23 April, Rome will host training programmes focused on the maintenance and management of swimming pool facilities.
This month, Rome will welcome the Campus Piscine, an initiative promoted by Professione Acqua, an organisation with twenty years of experience in high-level training for swimming pool industry professionals in Italy.
Aimed at operators and facility managers, the event will take place in person on 22 and 23 April at the Hotel Globus in Rome, offering a concrete opportunity to acquire or deepen the competencies required to hold technical and managerial roles in the swimming pool sector. Registration is open until 10 April 2026.
Three distinct programmes for different profiles and experience levels
Campus Piscine is structured around three courses, each tailored to a specific professional profile and level of experience.
The Maintenance Technician Course (8 hours) is designed for those seeking foundational professional training: lifeguards who also oversee the pump room, operators carrying out routine maintenance work, and private individuals wishing to gain a better understanding of how their pool functions.
The Professional Maintenance Technician Course (16 hours) is intended for those who carry out pool system maintenance as a primary occupation, and is therefore not recommended for candidates without at least a basic level of hands-on experience in the field.
The Pool Facility Manager Course (8 hours) provides the essential legislative and technical grounding required to assume responsibility for a public-use swimming pool facility, and is addressed to managers of residential, hospitality and publicly accessible pools.
Training credits for workplace safety and certification issued by UNASF Conflavoro
Each Campus course awards 4 training credits, valid towards mandatory worker training (sector-specific component), mandatory worker refresher training, and mandatory refresher training for Health and Safety Officers (RSPP). The credits earned are recorded on the certificate, which is issued by UNASF Conflavoro.
Why attend even if you have already completed a course
Campus Piscine is also a valuable opportunity for those who have previously attended similar programmes. Those who completed their training before 2014 do not hold Conflavoro certification and will now have the opportunity to bring their credentials up to date.
In addition, attendance allows participants to earn workplace safety credits, access continuously updated course content, and engage in direct professional exchange with peers in a face-to-face setting. The new certificate will reflect both the qualification already obtained and its formal renewal.
Courses start from €180, with the option of accommodation at the partner hotel. Registration and the full programme are available on the Professione Acqua website.
