From 10 to 12 February 2027, BolognaFiere hosts the event for the pool, spa and wellness industry. International delegations, safety conferences and two immersive areas take centre stage.
The 18th edition of ForumPiscine, a leading event for pool, spa and wellness companies and professionals, returns to BolognaFiere from 10 to 12 February as part of XLeisure. The programme combines professional training with real business opportunities, both in Italy and abroad.
Direct contacts with international buyers
The main novelty for exhibitors is commercial growth. At ForumPiscine, companies can meet foreign operators in person, present their products and technologies, and build new business relationships.
Among the expected guests is a delegation from Morocco, made up of importers, distributors, installers and designers from the pool and wellness sector. The group will be accompanied by architect Karim Sabi, president of the Moroccan National Order of Architects, and by Francesco Bresolin, owner of Medinit, a platform that gives access to the Moroccan market.
Morocco offers interesting prospects. Growth is driven by investment in tourism and hospitality, by the rise of the upper-middle-range residential market, and by modernisation programmes for accommodation facilities. Besides new pool construction, there is room for companies working in plant refurbishment, energy and water efficiency, and water treatment technologies.
Many more foreign delegations are expected. Garden centre managers, wholesalers and large-scale retail specialists from France, Belgium, Bulgaria, Switzerland and other markets will also attend.
Between wellness and architecture
ForumPiscine 2027 runs alongside Outex – Outdoor Experience. This allows the show to connect the pool world with outdoor space design through two new immersive areas in the Expo, focused on wellness, nature and the quality of living environments.
The first is Wellness Alive, a concept exhibit created by architect Alberto Apostoli and the studio Apostoli Wellness Creators. Covering about 250 sq m, it highlights the integration of wellness, architecture, technology and nature. The modular, multifunctional space, with its rigorous geometries, is organised in three paths: body and performance, mind and focus, spirit and individual. This holistic vision of wellbeing aims to inspire designers, operators and companies.
The second area stems from the renewed collaboration between XLeisure and AIAPP, the Italian Association of Landscape Architecture. It is a “hidden garden” designed by landscape architect Simone Ottonello, inspired by the four elements of Fire, Air, Earth and Water, plus a fifth, symbolic one: the vital spirit. Thanks to the innovative use of materials, it offers solutions that can be replicated in gardens and terraces.
Conferences: safety, efficiency and facility management
The conference agenda will address the sector’s main challenges, from energy efficiency to smart technologies, and from quality to facility management. Safety will be the key theme, with thematic sessions and round tables ahead of the forthcoming framework law on health and safety in swimming pools.
One highlight is City Vision Sport & Life, born from the partnership between XLeisure and City Vision. It will bring together public administrators, experts and companies to discuss the future of aquatic and sports facilities: governance, sustainability, efficiency and innovative solutions for managing facilities and outdoor spaces.
The collaboration with Assopiscine will enrich the technical and training offer. The programme will also include the Pool Builders Days, an in-depth course for builders, designers and installers.
