Relaxation Framed by Nature

WHAT MAKES THIS POOL SPECIAL
As if it had always been there, this pool blends seamlessly into a private estate in Munich. It was realized by A1-Schwimmbadbau in close collaboration with the homeowners, their architects, and the landscape designers. The perfectly harmonious integration was made possible through early planning and careful coordination between all companies involved, allowing them to create a well-balanced overall concept – particularly evident in the natural character that the entire pool garden exudes today.

Designed for year-round use, the pool features a complete natural stone lining in a dark grey tone. This gives the water an intense emerald-green appearance that blends beautifully with the lush, richly planted garden landscape. Natural stone also forms the pool’s edge finish: generously thick stone slabs add another refined design element to the skimmer pool. Like the adjoining polygonal pathways and terrace slabs, they are kept in colors that harmonize with the architecture of the house.

The pool measures an impressive eleven meters in length with a compact width of 3.5 meters. A special feature is its varying depth, increasing from 1.3 meters at the stepped entrance near the sun terrace to 1.8 meters at the opposite end. At this end, a counter-current system and LED spotlights are installed, and a roller cover rises discreetly from the pool floor. Its slats are made of impact-resistant polycarbonate in a leaf-green solar finish, ensuring that even when closed, the pool remains perfectly coordinated with its green surroundings.

DESIGN DETAIL
The leaf-green roller cover disappears into a narrow slot in the floor at the deeper end of the garden pool when not in use, making it barely visible. Its cover box is also clad in natural stone.
